Hardship Grant is specifically designed for private sector tenants who have are behind in their rent during Covid-19, whether it be, for example, from being furloughed, having a drastic reduction in hours, or even losing their job during the pandemic.

The grant is only available to those tenants who were not in receipt of housing-related benefits during the time of arrears.
