Arolwg ar gyfer Tenantiaid / Ymgeiswyr Cymdeithasol Anabl

Published: Thursday 14 February 2019

Mae Tai Pawb yn paratoi canllaw ar gyfer awdurdodau lleol a darparwyr tai am Gofrestrau Tai Hygyrch ac felly rydym am glywed barn tenantiaid cymdeithasol sy'n byw yn neu sydd wedi gwneud cais am dai cymdeithasol hygyrch/addas.
Os ydych chi'n denant anabl neu'n ymgeisydd am dai cymdeithasol hygyrch ac os hoffech rannu eich profiadau, cymerwch 10 munud i gwblhau ein harolwg yma:
Os ydych chi'n ddarparwr tai cymdeithasol, awdurdod lleol neu ddarparwr gwasanaeth arall, byddem yn hynod ddiolchgar pe gallech anfon y gwahoddiad hwn at eich tenantiaid neu ddefnyddwyr gwasanaeth.
Rydym yn awyddus i ddarganfod mwy am ddisgwyliadau a phrofiadau pobl am ddyraniad tai hygyrch. Byddwn hefyd yn gweithio gyda darparwyr tai i helpu i ni lunio ein canllaw yn ddiweddarach.
Os hoffech ragor o wybodaeth, mae croeso i chi gysylltu â neu, neu ffoniwch 029 2053 7630.

Survey for Disabled Social Tenants/Applicants

Published: Wednesday 13 February 2019

Tai Pawb are preparing a guide for local authorities and housing providers on Accessible Housing Registers and as such we need to hear the views of social tenants who live in or have applied for accessible/adapted social housing.
If you are a disabled tenant or applicant for accessible social housing and would like to share your experiences, please take 10 minutes to complete our survey here:
If you are a social housing provider, local authority or another service provider, we would be extremely grateful if you could forward this invitation to your tenants or service users.
We are keen to find out more about people’s expectations and experiences of accessible housing allocation. We will also be working with housing providers to feed into our guide at a later stage.
If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact or, or call 029 2053 7630.

Abolition of the Right to Buy

Published: Friday 23 February 2018

Abolition of the Right to Buy

The Right to Buy and Right to Acquire will end for all Council and Housing Association tenants on 26 January 2019.

Early abolition on new homes only

The Right to Buy, Right to Acquire and Preserved Right to Buy will end for “new homes” only on 24 March 2018. A “new home” is one which has not been let as social housing for the six months before 24 March 2018, for example a new build property, or a home that has been recently acquired by the landlord.

There are certain exceptions if you are forced to move into a “new home”, for example if you are moved due to subsidence or a clearance scheme.  Ask your landlord for further information if you are in this situation.

Additional information

The Welsh Government has published a document explaining the effect of the ‘Abolition of the Right to Buy Act and Associated Rights (Wales) Act 2018’ legislation.  Please click here to see the document.

Applications to buy your home

If wish to exercise a right to buy your home, you can submit your application up to, and including, 25 January 2019. Any application made after this date will not be accepted.
