The first step is to register by creating an account.
On registration you will be asked for:
your National Insurance number (we use your NI number to prevent duplicate applications being created. If you do not know your NI number, you can obtain it via the .gov website or by calling 0300 200 3500 for assistance.)
your name, date of birth, gender and marital status
your address, tenancy details and when you moved in
a memorable date - You will need this to log back into your account to view or amend your application or view any messages.
a password - You will also need this to log back into your account to view or amend your application or view any messages.

At the end of registration you will be given a unique login reference. Remember to note this as you will need it along with your memorable date and password every time you access your account.
